Over all 2013 was a good year for me in gaming. I got to play in a lot of games, and while I didn't get to run a lot of games the games that I ran have been well and fun. At present I run a Shadowrun game that is on a temporary hiatus (maybe not so temporary due to some pending life changes) and an L5R game. The L5R game I'm particularly proud of as it is the longest running campaign I've ever run and is currently on its 3rd generation of PCs in the setting we chose on. As someone who before almost exclusively did short run games or games with a set story end point, the L5R game has been a lot of fun and I have a lot planned for it going forward.
Unfortunately though, I didn't improve on RPing my NPCs as much as I'd like. I still have that weird issue where the only time I feel tongue tied or embarassed to say/do something is when I'm sitting at the table to play an RPG. It is something I will have to continue working on, but that's perfectly fine.
Looking forward my hope is for a lot more of the same I think. I want my L5R game to continue and be fun. I want the games I'm in to continue and be fun. I'd like to run more games, but that is a fairly unreasonable want considering time limitations and the fact that there really is only so much gaming someone can do.
