Over the weekend my buddy and I took a shot at revising the table topper we made in November to get it into a better spot. It still needs work, but after what we did (mostly shortening the legs and changing the hinges) I'm a lot happier with it's appearance, how it feels at the table, and everything else about it. In the process I learned a valuable lesson about doing a little bit more research before jumping into projects, and how sometimes the 'cheap' way and the 'smart' way have literally the exact same cost.

Rusty Axe Games - Dungeon Demon Online
I am sure most of you, the wonderful GMs that you are, are quite talented when it comes to designing dungeons and making maps. Personally though, I kind of suck at it. I mean really suck at it. I'm not sure what it is but I couldn't sketch out a building to save my life and even have problem with simple multi-floor layouts at times unless I really think about it.
Fortunately, I'm not alone. Also fortunately, there are tools out there for this. One such tool is Dungeon Demon Online. It is made by Rusty Axe Games and they asked me to give it a shot. I played around with the tool for a while and it seems intuitive enough. Unfortunately I'm not currently in any games where I can use it for anything but the most basic of layouts, but I figured I should share it and let you guys try it out.
If you like it, spread the word. Rusty Axe Games will thank you for it I'm sure. Otherwise, maybe the tool will help or just scratch a design itch you otherwise didn't know you had.
