Just figured I'd give people a heads up. I'm planning on giving out a free system tomorrow right here on Reality Refracted. It's called Unsung Heroes: A Quick and Dirty RPG about the Other Guys. And well, the name should tell you all you need to know about what the game is about.
The idea for the game hit me when I was randomly clicking around Youtube and a Clone Trooper tribute video came up. The video has a segment where the words "For every legend, a thousand heroes die unsung" appear on screen. I can't find the source of that quote (or the video right now sadly), but it did get me thinking about how true that statement is. Especially in RPGs where we focus on the 4-6 players, and very rarely is any attention given to the countless NPCs who die in the big battles along the way.
So, this game is for them. I'll talk more about it tomorrow when I have the link and all for you guys.
