Discussion - How Goes Your Games?

It's almost autumn. In fact, it is officially autumn tomorrow. The days are getting noticeably longer. The chaos of summer - or relaxing calm - is gone. Kids are back in school. Work is going on. People are looking forward to Halloween, preparing to fight off Christmas until December, or just waiting to embrace the holidays.

Autumn is an interesting time. It is a world going to sleep around here. But it is also the beginning of a lot of stuff.

And in that energy I am curious how your games are going? Are you running or playing? Nearing an end? Strongly in the middle? Or just beginning?

At present I'm running two different D&D 5e games. One is in the end game. The PCs are closing in on the final big bads, and the question is who will live, who will die, and who will win out in the end. My money is on the PCs, but I've been wrong before.

The other game is in a strange middle ground. We've had a couple delays due to real life issues keeping players away, and are slated to have more of the same continue for another session or two. Beyond that though, the game is trucking along. The PCs are coming into their power. They're also about to embark on their most dangerous adventures yet, and I can't wait to see how they tackle them.

But what about you and your games? How are they going?
