When You're Not Prepared...

Ironically short post today considering the title.

As I am writing this, I am sitting at home and waiting for my players to show up for game. I have nothing prepared. Last session we wrapped up a several session event, and while there is aftermath for today I don't have it prepared. There's a lot of reasons for it (busy, shadowrun, life, shadowrun, etc) but none of that really matters now does it? The point is, game is coming and I"m not prepared. So what am I going to do?

For those who guessed "wing it and probably blow something up" you get a prize. For those wondering what that means, let me explain. Coming off something huge you still have a lot of dust resting in the air. People, the kind of people you normally don't think about, are likely in a panic and prone to agitation. So, take them and blow something up. After all, you only have to fill one session with stuff right? And you just did something big, so it's not like everything has to be super relevant, right? So have fun with it. Relax, let your hair down, and blow something up.

Who knows, maybe it'll cause one of my players to start something on their own. Wouldn't that be fun?
