Announcing: NINJA! (also, Beta Testers Wanted)

For years now the shadow warriors of feudal Japan have fascinated gamers, but when it comes to role playing games, just what is a ninja? Are they super soldiers, capable of wiping out entire armies with nothing but a sword and some cool moves? Are they masters of stealth, able to be anywhere at any time and striking from shadows? Or are they the holders of ancient shadow magic, twisting mystical energies to help them out in dire pinches?

If you look to history, you find that the ninja has a long past. However, that past of espionage and spying is quite simply just not fantastical enough for many gamers. With that in mind, I am announcing NINJA! This is a small game that allows players to make the fantasy/action variant Ninja of their choice, and send them on missions for their lord. It is a small game, meant to be played quickly with an emphasis on fun and the absurdity of the fictional ninja.

There will be more on NINJA! in the coming weeks as it gets closer to being release ready. For the time being, however, I am looking for people who would be willing to take a look at a rough copy of the rules and perhaps give it a play test spin with some friends? First play tests here were done in less than 2 hours with people who had never even heard of the system before, and only one book between everyone. So it can be done quickly if you want it to be.
