Helge Lund Kolstad came up with a very nice system for Fudge, and it's the basis of the wound system for my game, "Blood, Sweat & Steel". "BS&S" is a gritty S&S game, so it definitely adds to the feel and flavor of that genre. Since you are taking penalties, you're more likely to get hurt worse, which leads to more penalties, etc. <br /><br />Because of this, I don't think wound penalties should kick in from the first hit.Philo.Pharynxnoreply@blogger.com
